About Value of Touch
Value of Touch is a massage therapy company located in Warrenton, Oregon. It was created by Alanna Nelson, who began with a passion for psychology and a desire to help people through trauma. After her own physical injury, she found massage therapy had a great effect on emotional trauma as well as physical. Value of Touch offers men and women a variety of services, including Therapeutic Massage (Deep Tissue), Relaxation Massage, Prenatal Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Lomi Lomi. Customers are delighted with the improved range of motion and movement after just one session, and they highly recommend the tailored massage techniques, such as the combination of hot stones and gua sha, which provide incredible relief for tense neck and back. The massage therapists are praised for their excellent draping technique and genuine care for the well-being of their clients.
I just recently got a massage from Alanna at Value of Touch, and I can say I truly left feeling relaxed and refreshed, but also like it really did something. I haven’t received a professional massage before so I think there was definitely a lot of built up tension in my back and glutes from my time as a pastry baker and now with the manual labor of being an EMT. She was very attentive though to how my body was acting and asked clarifying questions when there were spots of fascia build up. She also was quiet during the massage unless I asked questions about the work she was doing. Which, I’m a talker and it was more about learning about the spots where I hold tension and may be more prone to pain, so I asked away about it and she gave very informative and knowledgeable answers.
