They are known for being very helpful in a pinch, such as quickly replacing lost or ripped contacts for visitors and locals alike. Customers find the staff to be amazing, absolutely interested in helping, and treat people like family, offering excellent customer service when others do not. They work efficiently with outside prescriptions and are fair on price. While some note the frame selection has changed and seems quite similar now, others praise the new optometrists, described as twins who are very nice. They are recognized for going above and beyond to ensure prescriptions work correctly and for their overall helpfulness.
I have been a long time satisfied customer. There is always a large selection of frames and good service. But the last time I went for new glasses, Betsy was such a big help, I can not recommend her enough. When it’s hard to see without glasses to pick new ones, help is needed! We were in town from Montana and my son ripped a contact and forgot to bring extras. (Gotta love the teen years!) We had called a few places looking for help on our way through Portland, and they were all less then helpful. Called ahead to Waldport Eye Care and they were AMAZING! The ladies working the phones were clearly busy, but absolutely interested in helping us out. Our eye doc sent the info down and we had contacts in our hands hours later when we arrived! I can't thank them enough. In a time and an area where so many people don't care about others or customer service, Waldport Eye Care treated us like family. I would highly recommend them and am still so thankful for how they treated us! Thanks again!
