Veneta Veterinary Hospital provides exceptional care with a clean facility, friendly staff, and a smooth operation. The team, including Dr. Ryan Frome, is caring and takes time with clients. They are willing to accommodate urgent needs, even for large pets, and provide excellent service, making the extra drive worthwhile. The staff is extremely friendly, and the hospital offers Saturday hours, although there can be longer wait times on weekends. In emergencies, they are often the only ones available, providing timely care that makes the trip worthwhile. Many clients express gratitude for the level of professionalism and care, ensuring they will return as long as they are within driving distance. Veneta Veterinary Hospital has earned a reputation for taking great care of pets, even in urgent situations, like after surgery.
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things a family can go through, and Iām so grateful for the compassion and care we received here. Having to euthanize my dog Chewy was heartbreaking, but the entire team treated us with such kindness, patience, and understanding.
Dr Nelson took the time to explain everything clearly, gave me space to process, and made sure my Chewy was comfortable and peaceful throughout the entire process. His empathy truly made an incredibly difficult day just a little bit easier to bear.

The team at Veteta Veterinary, from Dr. Graham, to her support team, they treated us with dignity and respect while we had to make the very difficult decision to send our boy Dexter over the Rainbow Bridge. They even surprised us by taking paw and nose prints for us, and including them in the condolence card. Nice Touch. A truly professional and very caring team of Humans. great vet office, haven't had a bad experience with any of the vets, in fact we keep using this office despite moving across town
that said, the policy of not calling in prescriptions to outside pharmacies and requiring folks to drive all the way to the clinic to get a written script is ridiculous. I live in the pleasant hill area and this will cost me a lot of time needlessly driving over dangerous highways.
please reevaluate this policy.
