Our family moved out here earlier this year. I was very nervous about getting a haircut out here, far from the city and the range of stylists that work with all different types of hair. I often find myself seeing stylists who don't have a complete knowledge of my curl type and sensitive scalp, and I get a haircut that does the job, but doesn't wow me. It's just gotten worse after I had a baby and became a bit of a depressed shut-in.

Had my first haircut with Heather today, and she was amazing! I’m very careful with who cuts my long curly hair, and even so, I am rarely impressed with the results. Heather could sense how guarded I was and really took time & care with me. She’s like an extroverted empath. Incredible. She did a masterful job on my curls! I also appreciate her infusing our visit with curl tips & techniques. Plus: She’s affordable! Bonus: Received a compliment from a stranger the same day.
Heather (Curls to the People) has given me two fantastic curly cuts! She is so knowledgeable about curls. She takes the time to get to know your curls and also takes into account your styling preferences. I'm a lazy curly girl and like to use as few products as possible so she will style with that in mind. She's also wonderful to talk to! Can't recommend her enough!
