I came home to a very sick kitty (Barbara) one day and was calling all over Eugene and Springfield to try and get a last minute appointment and Q Street was able to see us within an hour, saving us a couple hundred if we would have had to take her to an emergency vet. The staff is friendly, attentative, and made our kitty feel comfortable. This is definitely our new veteranarian. Side note, they take ear temp instead of the "other" way which I'm sure Barbara appreciated.

Well I am updating my previous 5 star rating to a 3 star rating. I took my golden retriever in for what i guessed was a cyst on her mammary. I won't lie, I was wearing pajama pants and looked unkempt when I went In. I think that the vet prejudged me. She looked at my dog for about 2 mins and didn't clean or shave the area around the cyst to get a better look at it despite my asking her to and her taking her to the back room with the presumption they were going to get a closer look. Nope. Her fur was intact and bone dry around the area of the wound when they returned her to me 5 mins later. I paid almost $60 for the appt. My terrier went in for a teeth cleaning and several extractions. Her teeth were grade 3, which means they pulled out nearly all of her teeth. The staff was informative, sweet and helpful. I was nervous about the cost and making sure Hazel would be okay. The cost was more than reasonable, they do a consultation appointment to examine the teeth and come up with an estimate. After Hazel was out of surgery they called to let me know she was awake and recovering. They kept her for two hours for observation as well. Once I got Hazel home I noticed they also trimmed her nails, which was really nice of them. Everyone was very sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend this vet!
