Planet Fitness is a welcoming gym that aims to boost fitness energy and improve overall well-being. Many members appreciate the clean environment and the variety of equipment available. The facility is noted for being big, with plenty of cardio options and decent weight lifting choices, although some find the weights more beginner-friendly. The staff is recognized for being friendly, helpful, and professional, contributing to a positive atmosphere. One member specifically praised the manager for assisting with account and payment issues efficiently. The gym also offers tanning services, enhancing the workout experience for some, and the spa area is a free access perk for black card members, providing handy options for sore muscles.
However, there are concerns about the equipment suitability for taller individuals. Some members feel that certain machines are designed primarily for shorter users, making it uncomfortable for those over six feet tall. Issues with equipment design, such as low seating and limited options for specific exercises, have been raised. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding guest policies, which left one member feeling misled.
Overall, Planet Fitness is loved for its community vibe, clean facilities, and supportive staff, though it may need to address equipment accessibility to ensure all members can enjoy their workouts comfortably. Many enjoy the experience, but some wish it was open 24/7 all week.
Planet fitness is the best value in Roseburg. It is a clean franchise gym. It can get busy but I often find it lower populated. Machines are kept up, replaced when needed. This summer they had a refresh. Blackcard membership is worth it if you use the facility.
Staff is friendly from day one.
I have zero complaints on the facility.
Clean, lots of new equipment choices, Mary the personal trainer is amazing - professional knowledgeable trainer. If youve never had a review on the equipment sign up for one of her new member equipment orientation or first, have her set program schedule to help you reach your gooooals!
I just moved here and this is the first time I've used a PF and I'm very satisfied with the variety of machines and the cleanliness of the locker room. The 24/5 was something to get used to but at the end of the day, it works still for my schedule. Overall, good gym and good vibes.
