I have a dog that had not been seen here before. He’s a foster then adopted dog. He got very ill suddenly, his face swelled up and he was so lethargic he couldn’t keep his eyes open. They had me come in right away! She kept him, and did surgery on her lunch break. What kind of an angel!My little buddy is doing fantastic! Thank you Dr. Hall. AND! Your amazing staff!!!!

My young cat had a horribly huge abcess. Being as that we are somewhat new to the area from Astoria (been here a year and a half) we hadn't had a need for a vet until this week. A huge abcess appeared on my cats face on Tuesday. I called every vet from Ashland to Grants Pass and couldn't get her in. RR Animal clinic couldn't immediately see us due to not being existing clients however it was very obvious they cared and wanted to help. Shea (hopefully that's spelled right) at the front desk offered to put me on an on call list. I accepted. A couple days went by and the abcess ended up bursting. Had a cat emergency, and called around... Kept running into cold "we're full go away" vibes, until I called the Animal Clinic of Rogue River... They were much more human and sympathetic, and so just simply made it work. Much appreciated guys!! Lessons learned: (1) There is a veterinarian shortage in southern Oregon, much like everywhere else, so it's a good profession to get into. (2) If you're calling in distress and desire to be met at a human caring level, this place hasn't traded their heart for stone.
