“I was a pmu student at Trillium Ink. I recommend this tattoo school to everyone. It was the most amazing experience. I had so much fun and I wish I was still a student there. I had never given a tattoo prior to going to this school and did not come in with any prior knowledge. Pam talked to me on the phone for a long time before I enrolled, helping me make a plan for how I can do medical tattoos one day without having to start with body art. Everything was super beginner friendly, and I learned so much. Pam’s classes in person and online were so educational and she answered all of our questions thoughtfully. I liked how our class was small so we had close mentorship. They made everything work with my work schedule. I felt like everyone was very accepting there, and I became good friends with my classmates. I felt like I finally found a place where I fit in. The permanent makeup instructor, Dawn, was one of, if not the, most amazing human I have ever met. She sat with me for many hours during my pmu procedures, helping me whenever I needed it. She encouraged me to be confident in my skills and gave me extra coaching when I needed it. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail was unmatched. She was so supportive of everyone’s growth. Now, doing tattoos and living my life after I graduated, I still think about what she would do in certain situations and try to emulate it. She showed me how to better support women and be a better person. She accommodated all of my strange requests and even comments on my posts and supports me to this day. She made a lasting impact on me which I will never forget. I got 92% on the Oregon licensing exam, using only what I learned from Trillium, and now have a PMU business that allowed me to quit my 9-5 that was making me miserable.
