“I was travelling solo with my special needs, elderly dog in the Coos Bay area when I had a fall that would require my going to the hospital and having surgery. I knew no one in the area, and had no idea where my dog could stay safely for a few days. The paramedic on scene took it upon himself to get a name of someone for me to reach out to. It turned out to be Deb Campbell with Campbell K9 University. I talked with Deb on the phone, and she agreed to come to the hospital. Her warmth and concern for my dog showed thru, and our discussion about my dogs' needs left me feeling quite satisfied that my dog would be loved and well-cared for. Deb and her husband Rex are some of the best people you will meet, and the personal care that my dog received was a level above. I cannot rave enough about how gentle they were with her, understanding her specific needs as a blind dog with partial hearing. They kept her feeling safe and loved - until we could be reunited. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts! You were a God-send for BOTH of us!“
