The Professors and Coaches at NWMA are consistently positive, uplifting, patient, and fun which makes learning the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enjoyable and something to look forward to. It’s because of them that my youngest has his eyes set on becoming a Jiu Jitsu coach. Both my boys are eager to get to every class as well as the extra events that are occasionally put on too. The confidence in both my children has blossomed in the short eight months they have been attending both on and off the mat. Professor David and Professor Katie not only have great knowledge and love for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but also a passion for positive growth in our community as a whole.

Great gym with great instruction and a great team. I was travelling for work and managed to drop in for three classes. The instruction for those days focused on one technique system with each class having review of the previous techniques with some new stuff added in. It was a nice way to reinforce learning and provide lots of practice with that system. Each class featured a nice set of relevant warm ups, new techniques, positional sparring, and rounds.Everyone was warm and welcoming. I will be back.

A great Jiu-Jitsu gym. The professors, Katie and David, are very attentive to the kids, the classes are fun, and the overall vibe is super welcoming. Highly recommend their kids and adult program.
