Great doctors and staff. They worked to get my kitty in asap after she hurt her paw. Dr. Brown is an experienced vet that knows his stuff. I am so thankful they are here in Newport!

While they got my business by buying my old vet's practice when he retired, Animal Medical Care have been nothing but professional and caring - even once keeping the office open past their usual hours when I came home from work and found one of my cats in a bad way, and called in 15 minutes before they would normally have shut. Dr Smith and Dr Brown are both great and gentle vets, and their staff are just as good (and treated with respect by the docs.) When I had to have my old kitty put down (on a weekend when AMC was not open) and called to tell them that I wouldn't need a refill on his prescriptions after all, I got a call from Dr Smith the next day to give his condolences - he knew and remembered that cat. That's how much these folks care. They're accepting no more than 3 new clients a day right now, and it may take time to get your animal seen - but they'll get the best of care here.

I am so grateful to have Dr. Smith on board to care for my 21 year old pygmy goat. He is very kind and knowledgeable. It is sometimes hard to find good vet care for goats, but now we are in good hands. I have been able to have Dr. Smith come to our barn after hours if needed. This helps keep my old goat boy from being stressed by a car ride. Thank you
