I needed to get my hair cut before my wedding. Ray was incredibly accommodating with my tight schedule, and offered to let me come in on a Saturday. He is very personable, with a long history of serving the Monmouth community. He only accepts cash, but prioritizes human connection over making money.
Fantastic shop in Monmouth right off of Main. Accepts walk-ins and honestly did a far better job than my last barber in Salem. Did exactly what I was looking for in less than 20 minutes. $15 for the cut and pretty decent conversation. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.
University Barber shop is the gold standard of all Barber shops. The price is right and the service is excellent. My husband and my son came away pleased with their haircuts. We come from Salem because the service here can't be beat!
