I have had three separate in depth encounters with Leslie. She is highly educated about every aspect of the breed. I’m glad she’s careful about who her dogs go home with. We were considering a mobility dog but realized I just didn’t need one yet. She spent a lot of time with us and never held it against me. I had been looking for a dog to train for therapy work and was referred to Kings Valley Collies by another breeder. From my first conversation with Leslie, I knew that through her, I had found the right dog. Since bringing “Maizie” into our home several months ago, I have had several follow-up interactions with Leslie and have found her to be very responsive and helpful. She adores every one of her dogs and is singularly focused on ensuring a great match between them and their new families. She is empathetic to the needs of both the dogs and their people. I greatly appreciated her approach to finding the right match for our household!

I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn more about collies to see her dogs. Leslie's knowledge of positive training and skill in using clickers to shape good behavior shines through. Even if you have no knowledge of these things, you can tell her dogs do! I was especially amazed at how every... read full review
