I was just rereading my review...below and noticed that since I had written it years ago, there had been a couple of stylists who were quite loud and disruptive albeit Lavonne had placed them in the rear. Many reviewers mentioned them and I agree with their comments. Luckily they are now gone and the shop has returned to the pleasant environment with the new replacements. Yay!

Nice, clean and classy atmosphere. Nancy is wonderful. My whole family goes to her to get our hair cut. Reasonable pricing and she does my bang trims exactly as I like it! I will continue to go see Nancy for all our hair needs.

I have been going to Michelle Layman at Salon LaVonne for more than 12 years. I always walk out feeling a little more perky than when I walked in. It's amazing what a good stylist can do for your attitude to say nothing of your looks. A good cut and color is hard to find sometimes. Michelle is excellent at both. I've tried other stylists but I always come back to Michelle. She listens to what you want and takes the time to get it right! I like the friendly neighborhood atmosphere. It's a little different now due to Covid but I'm glad they are following the protocols regarding number of people in the salon, masking and extra cleaning.
