Dr. Vande and his team at Summit Orthopedics put me back together following a clavicle-smashing bike accident. Not only was my break severe, it required the level of surgical precision and therapeutic recovery guidance that Dr. Vande and his team provide. A specific insight is that they did everything to aggressively keep the rest of my arm and shoulder to avoid atrophy that often happens by being in a sling too long. I was out of a sling within 48 hours of surgery! If you break a bone in the greater Portland Area, Summit Orthopedics is the only place to go, in my experience.
Staff is so friendly. I'm greeted by name every time I have an appointment. Dr. Vande takes his time to explain the exray of my right tibia and fibula break. I know I am in competent hands with everyone at Summit Orthopedics!
My appointment was so quick but answered everything I needed to know. I had staples taken out and I felt nott. I was very nervous when I went in but I was at ease by the time I left. Great job!
