The Alteration Station offers full service, experienced tailoring, alterations and mending/repair. Customers describe the ladies as friendly, efficient, and reliable, with a super friendly owner and a very professional, helpful employee. They have done a great job on multiple items, including hemming and tricky alterations. One customer had a tricky item fixed for no additional cost. Another had a vest made from an extra coat, which came out amazing. A pair of pants had the waist and seat taken in, fitting great and returned in about two weeks. Customers love the work and are very pleased with the results, calling the staff pros.
I brought a bridesmaid dress in here to get it taken in a couple of inches. I wasn’t really sure what to expect since I’ve never gotten a garment altered before; they had me try the dress on when I dropped it off and pinned it and marked it where it needed to be cut. I thought I had read somewhere that they had a 2-week maximum turnaround time—the pickup date I was given was a little longer than 2 weeks, but I’d made sure to bring the dress in with a few days to spare, so I wasn’t worried. I’m so thankful for these ladies! I’ve taken multiple items to be altered and they have done a great job. I had one tricky item to didn’t come out quite right and they fixed it for no additional cost.
I love this place. They do all my hemming and any alterations I need. the owner is super friendly and very helpful and her employee very professional and helpful plus I love the work they do.
