The staff here were so compassionate, providing prompt care for my two kittens, making a series of stressful experiences much better than they would have been had I sought care elsewhere. Thank you VCA River Road!
First time here and was very pleased. I called them after Salem Emergency Vet told me it would be a 2 hr minimum wait. Receptionist had the most kind voice and she got me checked in over the phone. I arrived and immediately triaged and taken back to a room. Place was very clean and even smelled clean. Vet tech and vet were very understanding of my Velcro dog's timidness and they talked him calmly and in friendly tones. He even got cookies and they let me take him back through the door when he was too scared to go back without me. It was quick and calm. Pricing wasn't bad for an urgent visit either. Highly recommend.
They were able to get my 1 year old large breed dog in at the last minute on a holiday weekend for a rapidly appearing growth on his chest over an 18 hour period. Turned out to be a very large seroma. Vet and staff were all kind and great to work with.
