About Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa

Beautiful historic hotel with incredible views of the Columbia River Gorge\\. The grounds and waterfall are stunning, and the location was perfect for exploring Hood River and the surrounding waterfalls\\. The hotel has lots of charm, although some areas could use a little updating\\. Overall, a memorable and relaxing stay
I give the room and location a 4 star simply because of the description of our reservation. It said a garden view, however upon looking out the window all we saw was the roof line and minimal view of the garden. Staff was friendly. There was a wedding going on so the music didn’t stop til 10pm. A notice would’ve been nice during our booking so we’d know what to expect ahead of time.
There was an abundance of alcohol left all over the halls on the floor we were at. I assume it was the floor that the wedding party was at. Wine glasses, margarita glasses, and empty beer cans to name a few.
Everything was so nice! I was a little disappointed in the dining menu. I requested an item(smoked salmon sliders) that was on their on line menu- scanned in the room- and was told they did not offer that, when I had observed someone enjoying it the night previously.
