Dylan from Kamakoa Plumbing responded within hours to my online request. He came out within days to give me a quote. He repiped my whole house with PEX piping. He showed up on time each day & worked diligently. He left everything very clean at
the end of each day. He even finished a day sooner than estimated. He also gave me the name of someone who could patch the drywall. He gave me a Hair Snake (Home Depot) & showed me how to use it to clear a hair clog from my bathtub & a sink drain which will save on future plumbing issues. I give him 5 out of 5 stars & highly recommend him for plumbing services.
Shower dripping intermittently. And getting more frequent. Had to open wall behind shower. Came in, evaluated and completed job in 2 hrs. Covered the opening with a door. Dylan came out to fix a leak coming from my tankless water heater and to perform an annual flush. I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently they worked. My water heater now works better than ever. Dylan is personable, trustworthy, and willing to explain things to someone like me who knows very little about plumbing. As long as I live in the PDX metro area I will be calling Kamakoa for all of my plumbing needs.
Our water heater leaked overnight and I called Dylan in the morning and he set me up with a replacement by the end of the day. He stopped by in the morning to inspect the old heater location/setup to make sure he would be prepared for the afternoon appointment. He is both very skilled and easy to work with.
Dylan from Kamakoa did maintenance (flush) of our old hot water heater and provided information about recommended maintenance interval and replacement cost for a new hot water heater. He was courteous, professional, and informed me beforehand of the cost of the maintenance service (about $200). I enthusiastically recommend this local, family-owned business, and I will call them again when I need a new heater installed.
