I have been with Home Instead Senior Care for over 9 years, both as a CAREGiver and as office staff. During this time, I have shared in and witnessed the compassion, the empathy, the caring for our seniors and their families in the community. The company logo "To us, it's personal" is honored by all of the staff and caregivers and is how we live. Our seniors and all clients are given respect, dignity, compassion, and a warmth of spirit from our caregivers. Through generous donations to community events such as the Be A Santa To A Senior program, the Senior Lonliness Help Hotline, The Walk to End Alzheimer's and the Walk For Parkinson Events, Home Instead has supported both physically and financially many community sponsored activities. Last year over 600 Christmas gifts were given out in the Be A Santa To A Senior partnership with Meals on Wheels allowing each Senior to receive a hot meal and present on Christmas Eve. The path of a caregiver is not always easy. I have had to say goodbye to many clients in my years with the company. It is never easy. But along with the sorrow comes great joy when a letter from the family arrives saying "Thank You. You made the journey for my parent, and us, easier. We loved the Care you gave our parent". This is the heart of the company. TO US IT'S PERSONAL is our way of life.
I have been a part of Home Instead since 2013 to present. CAREGiver for 4 years and then transitioned into the office. I loved being a CAREGiver, enhancing the lives of my clients, helping them remain in their homes and enhancing my life by caring for my clients. Home Instead has always been a wonderful company to be a part of. I have never worked for a more supportive and caring company. We value our CAREGivers who are the heart of the company. We work hard to give the best care for our clients....all are like family.
