My house is plagued by people hitting my mailbox on accident. After the 3rd time, I finally decided to massively upgrade my mailbox approach. So I did the research and after reading the reviews (especially the one about the snowplow), I opted to buy a mailbox from Fort Knox. Best decision ever! So far it has been hit twice, once was a small hit by a Dodge Ram 1500 where it took out the trucks taillight and took zero damage itself, the second time (which prompted the writing of this review) was a massive hit by a large Amazon Cargo Van, this time it ripped the front headlight out as well as ripped deep into the steel and plastic, over the tire, and almost all the way back...read full review

These are GREAT mailboxes. They are built like tanks and will clearly last for decades or maybe even centuries. They are also smartly designed in terms of where the incoming and outgoing mail goes, and the keyed access door, and how the mail is protected from the elements. If you're sick of cheaply made tin-can mailboxes, get one of these.
