Would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone. I never write reviews but what we have been through with this place is awful and I feel like others need to be warned. We were told by the front desk at the Grants Pass location that our insurance completely covered contacts for my daughter for one year. Then we get an almost $300 bill in the mail from them for her contacts stating insurance only covered about $20. Went in, the lady in the front told me first we had to meet our deductible for her for it to be covered. I asked why I hadn’t been told that and she said I would have to talk to the financial manager. I was NEVER told that originally and had I known I would have never gotten her contacts through them. I would have shopped around and gotten something cheaper just like I did when I got her glasses because they wouldn’t be covered by the insurance. Another time I was trying to talk to them and I got hung up on SIX different times. Every time I called back I told them that I got hung up on for how many times and they would transfer me to who I needed to talk to I would wait for about 6 minutes and then it would hang up again. The only thing this place cares about is the money they get out of people. They do not care about their patients or about telling them correct information about their insurance so they can make an educated decision financially.
The optometrists and front desk staff are all amazing. All very friendly and inviting. I did, however, have an entirely opposite interaction from the lady that was supposed to assist me trying on glasses. I felt like a complete burden even after asking for help. She offered me 2-3 pairs of glasses and then told me to get someone else's opinion when I said I didn't like them 🤷 No other staff was available due to helping other clients and lunch, so I just had to awkwardly go back to the staff member that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm recommending because I really enjoy my optometrist but dropping $700 on glasses to feel unwelcome is kinda 👎
I appreciate that I never have a long wait to get in and they have expert technicians that fit your glasses!
