This company’s communication is terrible. No tax planning with any reasonable amount of time to make changes. Missed IRS deadlines. Waited weeks for answers to simple tax questions. Had someone that wasn't a CPA incorrectly answering tax questions under a CPA's email address. Forgot to file one of my business tax returns and blamed me for not communicating with them that we had 2 businesses even though it was on our quote in November and I followed up in February asking about my 2nd business documents.

For startersI got a $1,000 bill BEFORE I submitted my return. My last years bill was $650. Then was asked to scan in my documents because they are virtual. Finally met them and dropped them off. Questioned why my bill increased increased 54% year over year. Got a nice letter with NO specifics. Examined my return to find no CA return filed to get a refund on investment property. They admitted they missed that and after the amended return got a refund of over $2,795. After the amended return they sent me quarterly vouchers for CA in 2021 when I had no income or investments in CA. Negotiated a $250 refund after this goat rope. We did a sales tax nexus with eCom CPA, and have done a filing as well. Very easy to work with, professional, and knowledgeable. The sales tax nexus analysis was really helpful and would have been extremely difficult and time-consuming to do ourselves - definitely worth it for us.
