When I retired and moved back to Grants Pass in 2019, finding a new dentist was something I got on to right away, I visited websites and read reviews and choose Johnston Dental Care and know that was the right choice. Besides their office being an aesthetically beautiful and calming environment, the front desk staff is welcoming and professional, making eye-contact and greeting you immediately upon arrival. My hygienist is thorough and I like the continuity of having the same hygienist who knows my mouth and ongoing issues. She even remembers my 2 cats and we sometimes talk about their dental care, too, as I had a career as a veterinary technician and took them to veterinary dental specialists. I see them twice a year for cleanings and have had some old fillings replaced and am currently going through having 2 dental implants, compounded by the issue of severe bone loss as they were next to each other, so was referred to a dental surgeon and will be having the crowns done with Dr Shane. Dr Shane is my dentist and he always takes the time to explain any problems and treatment options, I never feel rushed at my visits and this may sound impossible at a dentist visit, but being there is actually a relaxing experience because of the caring staff and environment.
I'm a nervous dental patient, but I have had the best care at Johnston Dental for these past 13 years and highly recommend them if you need gentle, comfortable care. They are the best!!
