The clinic has a staff of nine medical providers, including doctors of osteopathy, family nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. They offer specialized programs for heart health, women's health, and diabetes. Patients appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to the medical assistants and doctors. PA Evie is noted for having engaging conversations with patients, rather than just asking questions for reports. Dr. Burton is recognized for listening and ensuring patients feel heard and cared for. While many patients value the clinic's commitment to care, some express concerns about the environment. The constant pop music and bright fluorescent lighting can be overstimulating for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Additionally, some patients find it difficult to get urgent appointments, leading to long wait times for follow-ups on urgent care visits. They feel that the clinic's system may not adequately support those needing timely care.
I had an amazing new patient appointment recently and would recommend to others. The front desk staff were polite and helpful and the PA I saw, Evie, was amazing, having a conversation with me as opposed to firing off questions to complete a report. Convenient that they do bloodwork on site as well.
You can never get an urgent appointment in, and will be waiting 3 weeks to follow up on an ER or urgent care trip. Administration has the doctors tied up with no room for emergency drop in. Providers are great, as long as whatever you might need can wait a month. What is the point of a primary care doctor if you have to use ER/urgent care for emergency, maybe urgent, diagnosis and followup? Mountain view is a prime example of the broken healthcare system.
Had my new patient appointment today with Dr. Burton..He's the first doctor to not dismiss me..I felt so heard and believed..He sincerely cares for his patients..I'm so grateful to have him as my provider now..He listens..takes his time and orders the tests necessary..The office staff..nurses and phlebotomist were kind and caring..Thank you for treating me like a human being.
