Seven yrs ago my 15 yr old son decided he no longer wanted to be on this earth I chose Howard to do his cremation etc this was probably the worst experience of my life I was super depressed my family was going through hell and this man harassed my entire family for money and I made sure to keep him updated and tried to let him know what was going on but instead of coming to me he went to other family members and made them pay for my sons cremation which btw he also harassed until he got his money he was super insensitive he wouldn’t even allow me to see my son to say goodbye he is probably the worst person ever to deal with unless you have all the money in the world...read full review

We worked with Karen Burns. What a great lady. She was so sensitive to our situation. While filling out the necessary paperwork when it got tough for us she would change the subject and talk about the city of Florence. It gave us time to regain our composure so then we could work on paperwork again. We also had some mobility problems with one of my family members, and Karen quickly adapted, and brought tables and chairs closer to the entrance for us. Again, she cared for us like her own. In this hard time Karen went above and beyond. We appreciated it more than she could know.

The below comments of Ms. Clark are absurd. The Burns Funeral Home treated my father with honor and respect. Our family was tragically and intrusively disrespected by Ms. Clark and due to her mentally unstable and disrespect-able behavior she had to be removed from the service by the police. Alan was so gracious to try to maintain the dignity of my fathers service while having to assist with the tragic interruption of Ms. Clark making a scene. He provided safety to my step mom and close family as we all tried to reason with this unreasonable woman to leave.
