Mr. Dan is one of the funniest fitness instructors on the West Coast. He specializes in helping kids learn focus and helping adults manage stress and anger. From helping his students get in the best shape of their life, to teaching them real-world self-defense, you have to come see what Mr. Dan can do for you.

My daughter attended Corvallis Martial Arts for several years with Mr. Dan as her instructor. He was a great mentor in and out of the classroom. Not only did he teach her kempo, but also he helped her deal with boys who were harassing her at school and making her afraid to walk down the hallway. He gave her confidence and helped her deal with pre-teen and teen stressors. I am grateful he was there for her.

Friendly, respectful, and fun! Our son has been taking classes here for a while now and we are so happy to find a group that promotes such healthy mental and physical attributes. Many thanks to Mr. Dan! I would recommend this dojo to anyone of any age or skill level.

Shao-Lin Kempo or Kung-Fu, as referred to by the Western Chinese, are one and the same. Shao-Lin Kempo has no weak links in its style—it is a full and complete combat system. The fundamentals of Shao-Lin Kempo teach restraint when provoked and defense when attacked. Rarely will you find a true student of this art involved in a fight or brawl, simply because he or she has the confidence of knowing they’ll be the ultimate victor; they will be able to walk away from most confrontations without the loss of self-respect. All of our classes, group or private, are taught by highly qualified Black Belt instructors, whose training and ability are constantly being upgraded by Master instructors.
