About Coquille Valley Hospital
Coquille Valley Hospital (CVH) is a community-focused healthcare facility that aims to provide high-quality services. The hospital serves the Oregon communities of Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers, Bridge, Fairview, and surrounding areas, with a population of approximately 12,000 to 13,000 residents. Patients have praised the kind, caring, and professional staff, describing their experience as the "best experience" and feeling "lucky" to have such a facility nearby. The hospital has been recognized for making patients feel valued and even potentially saving lives. The hospital's staff includes dedicated nurses and doctors, with some recent graduates who are still learning and adjusting to the medical culture in the USA. Despite this, the most talented staff are quickly promoted to more permanent positions. Patients are encouraged to speak up and ensure their care respects their personal health histories. Staffing shortages at times have led to situations where methods, medicines, and techniques not ideal for each patient are used, so patients are advised to be informed and cautious. Recent reviews highlight the excellent care provided by nurses and doctors, especially in the emergency room. Nurse Dee and Dr. Weare received high praise for their compassionate, professional care, clear communication, and helpful treatment suggestions. Patients appreciated the kindness and efficiency of staff like Tiffany during urgent visits, noting that they felt genuinely cared for and respected. Overall, Coquille Valley Hospital continues to serve its community with dedicated staff and a focus on patient well-being.
My experience today was awesome. From the moment of checking in on the 3rd floor for a colonoscopy, the nurses that took excellent care of me, to Dr. Bombeck this experience couldn't be any better. I was treated with respect, care, and efficiency! I received complete information as to the procedure, and recovery.
This was the absolute best hospital experience I have ever had! Worth the short drive from North Bend!
I've had to use the hospital for a few things like labs and what not and have had very positive experiences with the staff. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and caring which really makes these type of things easier.

She’d been vomiting for several days and looked weak and listless. Armed with those lab results that also showed numerous things that were either too high or too low, the ER doctors and nurses at Coquille Valley Hospital got to work trying to...read full review
