The staff here are great. All are friendly and know their jobs and they love dogs. My dog Lucky stayed 4 nights and was very happy when we picked him up. He went back and said goodbye to the staff present, usually he's pulling at the leash to get out of the door at other places we've lodged him. He especially likes his bunny head.
I can’t recommend Riverview enough. We brought in our rescue puppy in for daycare when she was still unsure and fearful, hoping to socialize her with other dogs while she was still young. At first she was absolutely terrified, not even wanting to get out of the car. Little by little, however, she gained more and more confidence. Now 9 months later, she practically drags us through the front door, so excited to play with her friends! This is all due to the staff’s patience and professionalism. We absolutely trust them to take care of our dog like she’s their own.
Riverview Kennels is a great place to leave your pets when you can't take them with you. My wife and I have been loyal customers for years. Our dogs always loved staying at Riverview. We have moved out of Oregon and my wife and I and our German Shepherd Cali miss the wonderful owners and staff at Riverview Kennels. Anyway, I just read about their VIP program to help shelter dogs become more adoptable by moving them to Riverview Kennels and have them stay there and get socialized and obedience trained. What a great idea. The owners and staff are good hearted people to undertake that mission Thank you to Riverview for doing that. And Thank you for the good care you gave our doggies.
