I cannot thank kevin at paw and hand enough. Whitney is a lab/shepherd mix, she went to an 8 week board and train for behavior modification. Whitney previously lived on a farm but unfortunately we had to move to an apartment complex. She wasn't too happy with being on a leash, or seeing so many other dogs and people. I had no idea what I was doing or how to handle her reactive behaviors, it became a nightmare to take her outside to potty, let alone give her the excersize she needed. She was not socialized as much as she should have been while a puppy so new people weren't her friend. at the meet and greet she barked at everyone just about the whole time. Though we were all a little nervous as she is A LOT of a dog, the people at paw and hand made her a whole different dog. We still have a long way to go, but thanks to Kevin I also feel confident enough to have control. She not only walks in heel with little reminders, her house manners and bed stays are amazing. I can't even explain in words the wonders they did with her. I will say, I was nervous of the pinch collar, but I believe that's because I was not educated on how to use them correctly. Even through the rain, flooding, and holidays, they still stayed in contact and shared updates. I truly belive the people at paw and hand put there all in with whitney and truly took care of her. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely return for tune ups!

Henry spent 8 weeks at Paw and Hand K9. They were recommended by Henry’s brother with another family. I was so frustrated with Henry being a COVID dog and not having the social skills or manners he needed. He pulled on me every time I would take him out. After training with Jesse and being at Paw and Hand K9 it’s like I have a different dog. It’s so much easier to take him everywhere now. He recalls with no issues. I found going through the training it wasn’t Henry’s issues (well some of it was) but it was the way I dealt with things that confused him. Everyone at paw and hand was wonderful and just sitting waiting for my dog some weeks I was educated in the waiting room or outside. I wish they were a little closer and I’d have Henry going there daily. I did just ask about pack walks so that we could participate and not lose touch. I’ve also decided when we travel next time, rather than a dog sitter, Henry will go to Paw and Hand. He was so excited when we went back for his 1 month follow up. As soon as he heard Jesse’s voice his tail was whipping so hard I thought he’d break the wall. HIGHLY recommend. My dog was already amazing but they brought out all the best in him.
