Overall, Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa is a charming place in Astoria, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
What a stunning view and sweet touches like binoculars in the rooms and thoughtful decor. Size of room and space for cost is the only thing I would dock. The spa lounge area and sauna were great, and the staff so attentive and genuine. Was really a bummer that the mineral hot tub is out of commission as that was a key amenity. Maybe call to verify it's finished if that's something you're looking forward to. All in all, the atmosphere and location are central and quite enjoyable. The views were stunning.
This place blows me away in hospitality, cleanliness style, but most of the wonderful staff that always makes or breaks a place. I love a hotel that pays attention to the finest details to the stay special, room design, Italian chocolate, bar voucher and amazing breakfast, nightly chocolate chip cookies and the view and location. In par with Allison inn . Will stay here again and highly recommend!
What a wonderful experience! We are so glad we decided to change hotels from the one we had always stayed at. Yes, this is just about the most expensive hotel in Astoria, and yes it's very difficult to find availability, but that just tells you just how fantastic this place is! From checkin, to checkout we felt like we were valued as a customer. Front desk staff was amazing and so helpful! Omelette station (yes, omelette station!) gal was very plesant! The bartender was very personable and made us awesome G&Ts (Could use a couple of more top shelf gin).
We got a GREAT room! Maybe #2 or #3 of all the rooms we have stayed at before. Very comfortable, awesome...read full review
