I brought my daughter there and Dr. Scruggs did a medical procedure without informing her or asking for authorization for this. When we received a bill I questioned it with the receptionist/biller and tried to tell her that in the future that it might be a good practice to let a patient know when Dr. Scruggs is about to perform a medical procedure not covered by the exam fee and that it would cost extra. She became argumentative and questioned why I felt this way instead of acknowledging my frustration and allowing me to share a customer's perspective. Immediately after this, I let the receptionist know that I was ready to pay for the charge and because she was upset that I had a concern she cut me off and hung up on me. I called back and there was no answer. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I understand that she didn't agree with my opinion but rather than indicating she would communicate this customer feedback to the Doctor, she instead took it personally and decided to disrespect me as a patient by hanging up on me.
