I leave this review with a heavy heart. I have had 3-4 phone appointments with Dr. Houghton. He has helped me with thyroid and gut issues. He very knowledgeable regarding Sibo and hormone issues. My main issue is that he is difficult to get a hold of. Voicemails are rarely if ever returned. Emails receive no response. I recently had an issue with a medication refill that required a Dr’s authorization and I could not reach Dr. Houghton at his office or cell number.

For over 20 years, Dr. Geoff Houghton has consistently been of invaluable benefit to our entire family, over a vast range of conditions. He is an excellent listener, and genuinely cares for the welfare of his patients. He saved the life of my wife years ago when she was experiencing an acute adrenal imbalance. Other family members have received excellent care for their needs. We have nothing but praise for Dr. Houghton! Highly recommended! David S

Geoff is an OK naturopath but we got to the point where I needed a referral to an endocrinologist for a complex issue that was and still does contribute to my mental health. I expressly told Geoff I needed a referral as my situation was not good..
Since then I have heard nothing on whether a referral has been made, I call the endocrinologist every week to check if they have got one and still nothing.. leave a voicemail for Geoff asking what's going on.. still nothing. Email several times and guess what?? Yeah still no reply...
This is not only incredibly unprofessional for someone in the medical field, it's completely irresponsible.
