I am a new Samfit gym member, so far here's my experience and thoughts about the gym. I enjoyed being able to work out there, and its been a much more welcoming and low-key, but positive environment. The other gym members and staff are helpful, kind and friendly.
However, I have a critique of how the place could improve:
First off, Samfit should publicly disclose the office/admin hours schedules, both on site and online. As of right now, its an unnecessary game of Russian roulette of driving to a samfit location, and not knowing whether or when theyll be there. I called the Albany SamFit after not being able to find staff who could help me sign up at my local location. Angie called me back so quickly and answered all of my questions, completely turning around the discouragement I'd started to feel. As a new gym-goer I really appreciated the responsiveness and encouragement I've experienced with this location and would (and have) recommended it to anyone else looking to join.
SamFit is awesome. I walked in today and Brady asked how was my shoulder and Layton offered an exercise for overuse thumb. Wow, what a staff. I was there for yoga with Nicole and it was super great and zen!!!
