It feels very strange to be reviewing a funeral home, but here we are.I was impressed when I had heard that Fisher is independent and has been family owned for generations, so I thought I would take a chance on them and go through them after my grandmother passed.Let me just say that I'm so glad they did. Each staff member I met with was very professional, yet still warm and comforting– as was the atmosphere itself. Great people to work with. Family owned (multi-generation Albany family) makes you comfortable that you are working with your neighbors. The family is also very involved in the community. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
When I found out our high school golf coach passed I called the staff at Fisher Funeral Home to ask advice on where to send flowers. Wally went out of his way to help us locate family members so that the flowers will be forwarded to the family since Covid19 has put service plans on hold (flowers were sent to Fisher Funeral Home). Kudos to the entire staff at Fisher Funeral Home for helping out during difficult times.
