I was very impressed with Albany Stoves annual service and cleaning of my gas fireplace stove. The owner did a very thorough job. He also answered questions and gave me helpful information regarding providing an additional heat source for upstairs during power outages.

After years of hiring amateurs and unknowns, I finally wised up and hired the pros. And I’m glad I did.
Albany Stoves is a family-owned and -operated business. Two brothers in the family came by today to clean the chimney flue, which in the process involved removing and reinstalling an old fireplace insert. They approached the task with aplomb and total professionalism.
First off, they arrived on time, were courteous, cheerful, and conscientious about not making a mess on my floor/carpet, even removing their shoes at the door. They also placed several tarps on the floor/carpet to protect it.
I have a Kuma fireplace insert that's no longer made. I needed to replace the cracked ceramic baffles but was unable to find the exact bricks required. The proprietor of Albany Stoves saved me a lot of money explaining how to order myself, avoiding the dealer markup I'd have to have paid if he had ordered on my behalf. If I ever need a new stove, there's no question whom I'll choose. Thank you for being such a stand-up guy!
