We were passing through on a Sunday when our trip came to a halt with a broken spring on our snowmobile trailer leaving us stranded.
Danbrook stepped up for us Monday morning and repaired the trailer for us quickly with such genuine kindness and care going out of their way to help us knowing we were stuck. That kind of service is rare these days and speaks volumes about the team who works there.

John Palen is making this review. My old computer still worked fine after 10 years but I decided to upgrade from windows 10. Went to see Jeff for the first time and he had some machines already built. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some options and answered all my questions. Bought a machine and picked it up the next day after Jeff had let it run, set a few things up and made sure all was running fine. Never tried it out until that evening. It didn't want to boot up for me. Called Jeff the next day and he came over that afternoon and had it running in a couple minutes. I had kept my keyboard, mouse and monitor from my old machine and I guess the new one didn't like something about that equipment. Jeff looked it over, switched where a couple wires plugged in, did something in the boot menu and had it running in two minutes. Felt bad that Jeff ran over to my place for a 2 minute fix. He said it was all good and he wanted his customers to have a good experience with whatever they get from him. Great experience with Jeff and computer is running fine. Would definitely recommend him.

Auto care has done a lot of work on my cars in the past. From oil changes to replacing shocks and engine mounts and pretty much anything else you can think of. There once was a time where there was a miscommunication between what service I was looking to get done versus what work was actually done and they completely owned up to the mistake and didn’t charge me. They have the upmost of my respect and they’ll certainly have a lifetime of customers between my family and I to come. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Being tall, I suffered from ongoing severe headaches and neck aches for years. I went to a few chiropractors with lengthy (and expensive) proposed treatment plans, but saw no improvement. After moving into the area, Baldwin Street Chiropractic Clinic was recommended to me and I was SO fortunate to be connected to Dr. Kobayashi. After only 2 or 3 appointments I saw HUGE improvement and my pain decreased. I now have no headaches or pain, and I only need go in to see him every once in a while as things pop up. Dr. Kobayashi is also so welcoming and kind. The minute I met him he made me feel comfortable and explained every process and movement. Appointments are laid back, and it just feels like you’re chatting to an old friend. I can’t thank him enough!

They helped me choose a beautiful colour of carpeting that matched my existing floors perfectly. The price was very reasonable. And the install was done so professionally. My mother is a senior and Debbie is always kind and accommodating. She greets my mother at the door and assists her into the chair. She is following all of the covid rules and policies. She visits with my mother and is always cheerful. On top of all of this....she makes my mom look and feel like a beauty queen.

The relationship our dad had with his financial advisor Richard Demaiter@BMO was special. When Dad was in the hospital before passing 2019 Richard came to visit. We soon realized then and after Dad’s passing how often Dad had sat in Richard’s office having conversations about practically everything(including financial advice about his portfolio) Richard knew our father’s life story. Our Dad looked forward to seeing Richard. Richard was kindhearted and respectful. Someone who turned the computer screen the other way to engage in real conversation with a lonely man (widower after 55 years of marriage to our Mom) craved social contact. Richard guided our parents financially before their passing and assisted us with our questions after with care, respect and empathy.
Vicky is an incredible hairdresser/stylist. She is very down to earth and a pleasure to talk with while having your hair done. I have gone to her for years and have nothing but great reviews for her.
I was nervous/had anxiety to start working out in a gym environment, but the staff at this location have been amazing. Have had troubles while out driving, called Owen & he has had no problem giving advice as best he can for the given situation, calming you for the rest of your trip. Great communication in total. Has saved me trips to other mechanics. If you have a problem with Owen’s Automotive, then I’d wonder as to the type of customer you are, as Owen himself is great. We’ve taken vehicles from a 2000 GMC Yukon with 450,000km, Nissans, & most recently a 2023 Ford Expedition with all the bells & whistles. Makes sense why he’s a busy man??
Image Studio is definitely the best place in town to get a haircut. Their price is a lot better than a lot of the ones in town. I've known the two stylists here for years, and they know how to cut hair.

I have been going to Haven for a few years now and Natasha has always done my hair. Her work is phenomenal. Everytime I get my hair cut it's exactly what I want and her hair coloring is art! We go over everything I would like and she always manages to make it look even better than I ever go in thinking it will be. I had the pleasure of another young lady whom washed my hair this time, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she did a great job with the wash and getting me set up. Amazing staff everyone is super nice. I moved just over a year ago and I still drive 45 minutes just to get my hair done here. Highly recommend!!!

We've now taken three series of classes with Sunkar doing ballroom dancing. I really enjoy the way he instructs. Focusing on technique as well the fun of dance. He chooses good music to dance to and the routines he creates are a lot of fun. I highly recommend adult ballroom and latin dance classes at Brooks Academy of Dance taught by Sunkar.
Today was my first time going to Lux and I must say , it is a beautiful salon. The atmosphere is so nice and friendly and so clean. I went to have my nails done by Natasha as a friend referred her. I called and asked for someone to come out and quote me on a brand new man door for my garage. The young lady on the phone agreed and asked if it was urgent?
I explained that the wind was blowing snow into my garage. She suggested that maybe I try some new weather stripping. So I went in and bought some in white to match my door.
It was a little tedious to install, but now that it's in. I haven't had any snow inside since. Thanks for not trying to just sell me a new door and caring about the customer and not just the profit. Chantelle helped me save some money that I can put towards another renovation now.
