The championship course features windswept fairways, strategically placed bunkers, ponds, and fescue. With immaculate conditions, GPS-equipped carts, and a focus on pace of play, Tangle Creek ensures a top-notch golfing experience. The venue is also popular for events, such as the enjoyable Dueling Pianos night, which included a well-presented three-course meal and outstanding service. Guests can also enjoy breakfast and lunch at the Bistro, known for excellent food and service. Tangle Creek delivers a picturesque blend of elegance and nature, with panoramic views of the golf course creating a romantic, magazine-worthy atmosphere. The reception space is thoughtfully designed and acoustically sound, making it a popular choice for weddings and events. As soon as we walked in everything was 5 stars from service, food, and the course is exceptional! Will be making a yearly visit to Barrie for sure!
The course is not the easiest -- blind shots, undulating greens, etc. But it's in good shape and is scenic. Without exception, the staff is friendly and they add to the pleasant outing.
