I’ve taken my car to The Auto Guys twice and had a good experience both times. The team is friendly, takes time to clearly explain the issues, and only does the work that is approved. The quality of their work is high and comparable to dealership standards. Pricing is on the higher side, but it reflects the high standard of workmanship and the quality of parts used, which meet OEM standards. Appointments are required, and availability is often about a week out, which shows how in-demand their service is. Customers also have the option to bring their own parts if preferred. Being relatively new to the beautiful city of St Thomas ON, we were in need of a new Auto Shop to rely on for routine maintenance.
After a fair bit of research, The Auto Guys rose to the top of the list and our experiences to date have never fallen short.
Friendly, welcoming, and fantastic Customer Service in addition to great Service and attention to detail. The team there have a wealth of knowledge and not only collaborate and share that knowledge amongst their team, they also share it with me the customer in short helping me, to help them, subsequently prolonging the life of my vehicles.
Auto Guys is phenomenal! My family and I recently moved to St. Thomas and initially chose Auto Guys because of convenience. We learned very quickly though that this was the shop we would always go to. The owner and staff are very friendly and informative. My husband and I are not well-experienced when it comes to car maintenance/servicing, and this shop has never taken advantage of us. Several times they could’ve given us a list of things to “fix” but instead told us exactly what was wrong, or that nothing was really wrong at all. As a woman I feel confident discussing car issues and knowing that they will be ethically taken care of. The men are very professional... read full review
