After having my addition totally wired, hydro moved from one end of the cottage to the other with complete electrical panel installed. EV outlet installed. Generator put in. And today we had power run from the cottage to our shed. I would recommend Smitty's with all my electrical needs. Very clean.
I cannot say enough good things about Adam and his team, from start to finish they were a pleasure to deal with and made a process I was nervous about so much easier. I bought a Century home in Dec 2023 & we were moving from Burlington to Brantford. I was used to new construction from my previous homes and unfamiliar with the area so I didn’t have any contractor resources and I knew the house needed some major electrical upgrades due to its age. I had never hired an electrical contractor before and I wanted to ensure the job was done right. I was referred to Adam by another local contractor and was pleasantly surprised by how responsive he was, his thorough review of my property before providing a quote, his honesty about what was wrong & what needed to be done. He laid out all his costs, how his team works, the process for obtaining permits and that I should be prepared for the unknown because of the age of the house. His quote was received quickly and was very fair, he was able to accommodate my tight timeline and work around other contractors doing work at the house. He also dealt with Hydro & coordinating shut offs and inspections for the panel upgrade. His team was very professional and accommodating of what I wanted done while working through some challenging weather and surprises behind the walls. The work was done on time and under budget. I ended up finding out that we had a huge issue with our pool electrical when we went to open it in April and once again Adam was able to fit me in their busy schedule, get it back up and running and bring it all up to code with proper inspection. Bottom line I will absolutely use Adam again for any future electrical projects and am forever grateful to him & his team for making our new home safe and comfortable which gave me great piece of mind. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great electrical contractor, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Adam!
