Traveling through on my motorcycle and need a tool to check my oil level. I stopped at the local hardware store, they didn't have it, and suggested Paynes. I stopped there after they closed but we're still on site. They helped me with a few tools and I was on my way. Offered to help at the end of their day and did charge me. You don't find service like that much anymore. Great guys! I highly recommend.
These people are awesome! We woke up to a flat tire on our tow vehicle at the campground and they were great help to fix it with reasonable pricing! Pleasant people, clean shop and quick & efficient! Thanks guys for getting us back on the road!!
On a long distance trip, we pulled into Payne's Auto because our car smelled like burning rubber. Jim went out of his way to diagnose the problem and discovered it was a leak in our oil filter. We didn't have much oil left when Jim and his mechanic changed it and did an oil change. Jim was honest and friendly and gave us a fair price. He essentially saved us thousands on a new engine.
