GRYPHON Extreme Roofing was our choice when we needed to replace our roof and they did not disappoint! We did get several quotes and are more then pleased with our choice. Dave was super friendly, professional and his years of experience and knowledge was evident. From the initial quote Dave offered exceptional products at a fair price. There was no pressure which we appreciated. His crew arrived on time and were courteous, respectful and cautious as they took the time to ensure nothing could be damaged and ensured the gate was always closed securely for our dogs. We were relieved when Dave Spalla of Gryphon Extreme Roofing, who had been working across the street, agreed to replace the shingles etc that a previous roofer had just installed at our place but in a highly substandard way. From the start he seemed genuine and interested in doing a good job. His manner made sense to me, as he grew up in the Port Hope area, and was invested in developinging and maintaining a good reputation. He necessarily consulted with us throughout the project, as fixing the problems created by the previous roofer was not straightforward. Gryphon Extreme Inc. - ReviewHow a negative turns positiveMy issue in short:- New house, 4 years old – Grrr- My initial issue was my gutters as they were leaking- Had 4 companies in, all said the same:o Over hundred nail pops, ridge vents were too wide hence water/snow was entering the attic, i.e. the roof was not put on properly- Builder was the previous owner, therefore No Tarion Warranty- When I met Dave, my gut said yes – he is personal and not a hard sell- Work started, his team arrived on site – they were all very personable, they all worked as a team.
