Last week while watching my grandchildren, whose parents were away on a trip, we returned from a visit to a nearby park, only to find out that we were locked out of the house. After reaching out to my son-in-law, he was able to connect with PRO-TECH Lock & Safe in Peterborough. A technician named Chris was asked to address this emergency. He called me first to let me know that he would be there within 20 minutes. To the minute, he arrived at the house. Amazing, reliable service. Unfortunately our 2.5 year old child ended up accidentally locking themselves in their room only for us to discover that none of the keys we have worked on the door. I called the number for Pro-Tect Lock and Safe and explained the situation. The person on the phone treated the situation seriously and was able to re-route one of their techs from another job to quickly assist us.
They showed up within 10-15 minutes and were able to get the door unlocked quickly. They also offered to replace the door knob on the spot with a knob that does not have a lock so we don't end up in the same situation again. The whole matter was resolved quickly...read full review
