I went to get my eyes checked as my coworkers were telling me I was squinting a lot. Turns out I needed glasses! The crew at Kawartha Vision Care Peterborough were really wonderful as it was my first pair ever. They got me set up with 2 pairs of glasses (one special safety pair for work too!) within a week. Scott and co found a pair of frames for me that were super stylish and nothing I would have picked for myself. I would have gone with a black quiet frame but left with a pair with red, black, silver and blue! I get compliments on them constantly!
I recommend this place to everyone now!
About Kawartha Optimal Vision Eye Care
Kawartha Optimal Vision Eye Care is a highly recommended eye care provider. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the doctor, Dr. Afkhami, is a true professional who takes the time to thoroughly examine patients, explain their situation, and offer personalized solutions. Patients appreciate the honest and attentive service. The facility is always clean and welcoming, with friendly workers who genuinely help customers. While the optometrist is on the second floor with no elevator access, the staff's helpfulness and professionalism make up for any inconvenience. Patients have praised the helpfulness of the team, especially when organizing appointments or correcting mistakes, and appreciate the straightforward, non-pushy approach of the salespeople when choosing glasses. Overall, the experience is positive, and many leave satisfied with their service and new glasses.

Great customer service!! Scott helped us work within our budget and yet also remain "stylish"! The fact that this is a family owned, local business was a major draw for us! Highly recommend Kawartha Vision Care!
Last Thursday evening I came in because the arm of my mum’s glasses broke, she’s 93 and really needed them to see. I asked the staff if they could be fixed, the eye doctor came out from the back and took them from me and about 10 minutes later returned them to me line they were new. I asked how much I owed and he smiled and said nothing, just a smile 😀. I thought that was very kind and wanted to share my experience. I took a card and said I would come for an eye appointment as I was overdue. Thank you again for your kindness!❤️
