Enhanced Care Clinic - Peterborough

Truly, the only good things about this clinic are the staff in the pharmacy and the pharmacist himself! This is not a physical walk in clinic - this is a clinic where you go in person to sit in a room in the back where you speak to a doctor over zoom. I was so disappointed to find this was just another virtual clinic when it is specifically advertised as a physical walk in. The doctor, Dr Benoit, was late to our appointment, and he prescribed the wrong antibiotics after I had specifically told him I could not take this kind because it’s contraindicated for being pregnant at full term (which I was). I have only used the telephone side of this clinic. I call the pharmacy and arrange the phone call from a doctor " working" the clinic that day. No set appointment tome, you just wait for a return call. Last time it was two days later ( staff admitted it was busy). I was probably on the phone 90 seconds total with the doctor agreeing to renew my two prescriptions for 90 days. Not exactly what I call a " visit" but at least I got my medications for diabetes and high cholesterol. Ontario has to do better!
