We were looking for a general contractor to renovate our bungalow a year and a half ago. RK Porter was highly recommended to us by friends for whom the company built a beautiful chalet (more like a compound). Met initially with Cameron - very impressed by the company's experience, expertise and project management acuity. Our project manager David was highly professional, kept us well informed throughout the process and worked hard to ensure we received excellent service from all trades. There were bumps along the way (outside of company's control or ours) but we are very satisfied with the final outcome. I had the pleasure of doing some masonry work on one of their projects.
They were extremely professional, their attention to detail and the quality of their work is outstanding. Along with how well they run their company.
R K Porter built the deck that extends our balcony and wraps around our new pool, and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, the process was seamless. They handled everything, including planning, permits, and execution, with professionalism and clear communication.
I expected a solid, functional deck, but what we received went far beyond that. The craftsmanship and finish quality are outstanding. It feels like a true extension of our home, not just an add-on. The attention to detail makes it something we can be genuinely proud of.
