We just wanted to take a few minutes to share our experience with the excellent folks at McKie (soon to be Ottawa Valley Leisurescapes). Sadly we lost our pool after this past winter due to ice damage. After consulting with Kristian and receiving his advice and quote we decided to have the pool replaced by them. The process was straightforward, they were ahead of schedule on the estimated install date, the price was reasonable and actually better than the original quote provided. Purchased my hot tub just before Christmas. They worked with my busy schedule and had it delivered and set up just as I asked. The hot tub has met and exceeded all our expectations. Although I have had a couple of small issues (nothing that stopped us from using the tub) they have answered and responded to all my concerns promptly and without any hassle. They even went and gave me some discounts on a couple of additional purchases as compensation without me asking or hinting. Mr. McKie is fantastic! I've never owned a pool or hottub before and he kindly came to my home and taught me everything I need to know about maintaining them. He demonstrated how to do backwashing, how to test the water, how to drain and clean, when to do maintenance, how to tell if something is wrong before it becomes a problem, safety precautions... he is a pool and spa whisperer! I feel very confident now that I can upkeep them. He took notes as he was teaching me so that I would have resources to refer to. I'm blown away by the services McKie Pools and Spas offers.
