About Esso
Esso is a gas station known for its friendly staff and clean environment. Customers appreciate the helpful and cheerful employees, making visits enjoyable. The location features a Tim Hortons drive-thru, which is convenient for those in a hurry, although morning lines can be long. While prices are generally competitive, some have noted that the station could benefit from some maintenance due to wear and tear. The touchless car wash is decent, but a longer drying time would improve the experience. Accessing the station can be tricky, especially when making a left turn onto Park Road. Additionally, some customers have mentioned the presence of loiterers outside, which may be concerning for some. Overall, Esso offers a satisfactory experience for fueling up and grabbing snacks.
This Esso has convenient access and decent service overall, but my family had an uncomfortable experience here a few years ago. One of the employees stared at my stepmom in a way that felt inappropriate, tried to flirt with her, and even followed her outside as we were leaving. It made all of us uneasy, including my dad.
I'm hoping management has addressed this since then, because no customer should feel uncomfortable while simply stopping for gas. Aside from that incident, the location itself is fine, but that experience definitely stood out.
Conveniently located Esso, just few minutes away from Oshawa Centre, offers all the essentials you need.
The vacuum cleaner costs $3 to start, and you can use a 25-cent loonie or toonie. If your credit card doesn’t work for the vacuum machine, try using a debit card instead.
There’s a Circle K store where you can grab snacks and other items. Tim Hortons is also available, with both a drive-thru and an in-person option.
The car wash has an old setup that’s quite dated, but it’s still functional for quick washes and doesn’t have a long line.
This was my go-to esso location but over time it's gotten a little worn and could use some TLC. Might be from the riffraff of downtown though. Touchless car wash is alright. A little extra time on the blow dryer would help.
