Stradwicks Carpet One Floor & Home

This will be a long read, but worth it. DO NOT waste your time at home depot, and all of those building supply stores, spend the tine at Stradwicks! I have renovated many homes in the past 8 years, and now building my forever home, I cannot recommend this company more, specifically dealing with James Van Empel. I work for a financial institution, and I appreciate the level of service James provided from the moment we walked into the store the first visit. We were originally dealing with another flooring advisor and James came to make sure we were okay, asked specific questions, gave us some thoughtful questions and opinions and we were wowed. Following the unfortunate fire that occurred, we visited the store a second time and dealt with James who took note of what flooring we were looking for, again asked thoughtful questions, and broke down some recommendations based on the fact that we essentially wanted premium floors on a tight budget that was also big dog friendly, from both a wear and tear perspective, but also how slippery it might be for our Irish wolfhound as she ages. I would trust my life with James at this point, I'm not even exaggerating. I showed him my Pinterest inspired bathroom , told him to get whatever tiles, grout, accents, that will give me the look in the photo and he did. He also got us an absolutely phenomenal deal on flooring for our full bathroom and bottom level to our house. Fast forward to pick up time for the flooring and tiles, as we are limited on space during this build. My husband and I rented a hotel (we live in Kirkland Lake) and are ready to pick up on a Saturday, as we recalled from our first visit they were open Saturdays. We called and spoke to James to see if that was still the case since the fire, understandably, it's not. James went above and beyond AGAIN, and said he would meet us at the store to allow us to pick up. I have never experienced this level of service and commitment from ANY supply store provider, and there has been MANY from Timmins to Kirkland Lake to North Bay, all the way to the Muskokas. Go to Stradwicks in North Bay, ask for James , prepare for your jaw to hit the floor, because of his level of commitment to providing excellent service. I hope Stradwicks recognizes the absolute gem of an employee they have. I have been referring Stradwicks and James to everyone I speak to! Thank you James, so much for your level of care, and the compassion you have for providing 10/10 service to your customers.

I continuously use Stradwicks and all their friendly, helpful staff to help me renovate my lake house. Take today for instance. Stephen emailed me a quote for carpeting my stairs before 6pm Friday. He then came to my house today for proper measuring and the guys just left after installing!! Talk about great customer service. Stairs look great guys �
