The soles on my favourite comfortable (used to be well-made brand!) shoes wore out prematurely. Still look new in every way. To avoid landfill and more$$ andbtimento find new, I had him put a new full length sole on for $50. Looked great and so far so good.
The heels on my favorite boots had worn down and I really didn't want to have to replace them. George's Shoe Repair did a terrific job replacing the heels and polishing the boots so they were as good as new. I live in the US and couldn't find a good shoe maker locally. It was worth the trip across the border to get this quality service.
Second time bringing a pair of shoes for a professional cleaning, my suede boots came back just like new, really professional and quick services with reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
